Dan is a member in the Mintz Levin Boston office, practicing in the Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Commercial Law Section. Dan specializes in insolvency, workouts, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. He represents bondholders, indenture trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, insurers and bankruptcy trustees in all aspects of Chapter 7 and 11 proceedings, as well as advising clients in out of court debt restructurings. Dan’s practice encompasses a diverse range of industries including healthcare (including senior care living), hotel and lodging, retail and manufacturing. Dan also has significant experience in representing clients in distressed acquisitions and divestitures. In addition to advising clients in troubled debt transactions, Dan also represents institutional lenders and borrowers in various financing matters. These include all forms of debt financing ranging from term loans to syndicated loan transactions. Dan is listed in the most recent national publication of Chambers USA, America’s Leading Business Lawyer, as one of Massachusetts’ top-rated insolvency attorneys, Best Lawyers 2013, as well as a “Massachusetts Super Lawyer” by Boston Magazine. Dan is the author of various articles and has lectured on numerous subjects at various forums. Dan is also on committees for various bankruptcy organizations. Dan is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Dan received his B.A., cum laude, from Boston College , and his J.D., cum laude, from Boston University Law School .
