Risa Greendlinger, Principal, Athena Consulting provides sales, fundraising and strategic marketing services for private sector and non-profit clients. She is a seasoned executive revenue generator as well as program manager. Her extensive new business development experience includes event planning, major gift stewardship and grant writing for government solicitations as well as corporate and family foundations. Prior to founding Athena Consulting, Risa was the Executive Director of the Work First Foundation, Director of New Business Development for the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and National Manager of Government Business Development for Ceridian Corporation.
Risa has applied her work placement and retention experience, developed from helping homeless veterans and veterans experiencing Post Traumatic Stress and or Traumatic Brain Injuries as well as welfare recipients find and keep jobs, to Flutie Spectrum Enterprises as an Advisory Board member. She, along with her husband, serves as a Flutie Foundation “Night to Shine” Gala Table Host. Rise’s civic engagement also includes leadership roles on Needham Special Education Parent Advisory Council, Urbanity Dance Board of Directors and she is an elected representative of Precinct E at Needham Town Meeting.
A graduate of Wellesley College, Risa holds a Master’s of Public Administration degree from Columbia University.
