Dr. Stephen Camer is a General Surgeon at New England Baptist Hospital Boston and has held many leadership roles including Chief of General Surgery and Chairman of the Department of Surgery.

Dr. Camer received a BS from Boston College and a medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York, followed by a Surgical Fellowship at the Lahey Clinic. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.

He also serves as Chairman of the Executive Board of Governors at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He is also a member of several professional societies including the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Camer holds teaching appointments as a Clinical Professor in Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine and as a Clinical Instructor in Surgery at Harvard Medical School.
