Tina Cantu currently works with her husband in his neurosurgery practice at Emerson Hospital as a nurse and attorney. She also does contract law, labor law work and sports medicine law as a consultant.
Tina formerly worked for the Spence Centers for Women's Health, a new start-up business, with Rina Spence, former President and CEO of Emerson Hospital. Tina was responsible for all aspects of that start-up, from construction through staffing and the opening of four facilities. Prior to working for Rina Spence, Tina was the Director of Perioperative Services at Emerson Hospital for 17 years. Tina's law experience is in contract negotiations and employment contracts, such as executive compensation packages/severance packages.
Tina graduated with her nursing degree from Jamestown Community College part of SUNY, her Bachelor's from Lesley College in Boston in Management, her MBA from the executive program at Northeastern University and her law degree from Suffolk Law School. Tina sits on multiple non-profit boards. Tina and her husband raise sheep and alpacas in Lincoln, MA.
